Each year across the nation, high school student athletes suffer serious health issues and even death as a result of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). We are proud to be able to partner with HCA Florida Highlands Hospital and Who We Play For to provide potentially life-saving EKGs & physicals at no-cost to all of our middle and high school athletes. All Highlands County athletes are required to have an EKG prior to participation. Parent Opt-Out forms are available. There is no cost to the families thanks to the support of HCA Florida Highlands Hospital and Who We Play For.
