Sebring High School celebrated AVID Day, Sept. 12th, joining schools NATIONWIDE in recognizing the power of education, the dedication of teachers and the resilience of our students. Through our partnership with AVID, we've seen incredible results - from increased graduation rates to more students enrolling in honors, AP/IB and DE courses. AVID equips students with the skills they need to succeed in school AND BEYOND, including critical thinking, collaboration and leadership. Today, our AVID students reflected on their skills, opportunities and confidence they have gained by completing the phrase, "Because of AVID, I...." We are proud of our 175+ AVID scholars at SHS to honor 45 years of impact across the nation. Thank you to our incredible educators who transform student lives every day!
