Get ready for Winter Break! Here are the key dates you need to know:
Early Release Day: Tomorrow, Friday, December 19th, is an Early Release Day. Dismissal will be at 1:30 PM. Note, with the correct paperwork, some students may leave earlier, take a look at the exam schedule for more information.
Winter Break: Enjoy the time off! Break runs from Monday, December 22nd through Monday, January 5th.
Return to School: We'll see everyone back, refreshed and ready, on Monday, January 6th, 2026!

We use your feedback to improve learning conditions for every student. The annual survey is open now through the end of December.

This week, Mrs. Miller’s AgriScience Foundations and Animal Science 2 & 3 students had an incredible hands-on learning experience!
We were thrilled to welcome Ally Bastian – UF/IFAS Beef Specialist and Alissa Hevesh – UF/IFAS Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent to Sebring High School. They shared their journeys into the agriculture field, introduced students to the many services offered through the Highlands County UF/IFAS Extension, and brought real-world industry insight straight into the classroom.
The highlight of the day? 🧪
Students explored bovine reproductive tracts, gaining up-close experience identifying anatomical structures and examining multiple fetuses at different stages of development. This unique opportunity allowed students to engage in authentic, career-connected learning that truly brings Animal Science to life.
A huge THANK YOU to our UF/IFAS partners and to Mrs. Miller for creating unforgettable learning experiences that prepare our students for future careers in agriculture! 🌱🐮✨
