Huge congratulations to Jalia Charlery, a senior at Sebring High School, for being named a finalist for the Leaders for Life Fellowship! 🎉

This prestigious award is given by Take Stock in Children Serving DeSoto, Hardee, & Highlands Counties.

Principal Kim Ervin announced this incredible achievement at Tuesday's School Board of Highlands County meeting. Jalia explained her commitment to various clubs and activities she has been a part of at Sebring High and within the community, and her desire to pursue biology and dentistry in the future!

We are incredibly proud of Jalia and her hard work and dedication. This is a well-deserved honor! The award recipients should be announced in early January, and our fingers are crossed for Jalia!
