Summer Swim Program 2025

The Summer Swim Program will again offer four (4) instructional sessions. Each will last two weeks and the swim class meets each weekday, Monday through Friday.

 The Program will offer eight (8) types of instruction:

  1.  Adult Beginner: Adults Only. For the novice-no experience necessary.

  2. Parent and Tot: Water Orientation. Mother/Father must participate with child. (6 months to 2 years of age.)

  3. Level  I: Introduction to Water Skills. Students first water orientation without Mother/Father.

    1. Part A--Preschool Aquatics (2-4 years of age)

    2. Part B—School Age (4-5 years of age)

  4. Level  II: Fundamental Aquatic Skills. Students do not need Mother/Father in pool. (4-5 years of age.)

  5. Level  III: Stroke Development. Students must be comfortable in water.

  6. Level  IV:  Stroke Improvement. Students must be able to swim 10 yards, do a front dive, and float on their backs.

  7. Level  V:  Stroke Refinement. Students must be able to swim 50 yards, tread water 30 seconds, and elementary backstroke 25 yards.

  8. Level  VI: 

    1. Part A--Personal Water Safety/Diving Fundamentals. Students must be able to swim 100 yards, tread water for 3 minutes, backstroke 100 yards. Will learn basics of diving.

    2. Part B--Fitness Swimmer/Diving Fundamentals. Students will learn necessary skills to make swimming part of their exercise program. Will learn basics of diving.   

 There will be an eighty ($80.00) fee for the two (2) week session and students will be enrolled on a “first come, first served” basis.  Credit Card used—add $3.00 for charges.

The following two (2) week sessions have been scheduled:

  • 1st Session:                   June 2 through June 13

  • 2nd Session:                 June 16 through June 27

  • 3rd Session:                  June 30 through July 11  

  • 4th Session:                   July 14 through July 25

Parents may begin signing up students May 12th at Sebring High School. Parents may sign up for any or all sessions they wish and remember it is “first come, first served.” Sign up between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.


**THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF FEES, UNLESS SWIM CLASS IS CANCELLED**

 

**THERE MUST BE AT LEAST 5 SWIMMERS PER CLASS FOR THE LESSONS TO BE TAUGHT**

Swim Lesson Registration

Begins Monday May 12th. Go to the front office at SHS between the hours of 9:00am-2:00pm—Monday through Friday.  The secretary will be happy to sign up participants.

Cost: $80.00 for 2 weeks of lessons and 45.00 for 1 week. 

Summer Swim Hours at Sebring High School

Pool opens Saturday May 26th 1:00-4:00pm.

Open Pool Hours

Sunday through Saturday- 7 days a week 1:00-4:00pm

Monday through Friday evenings - 6:00-8:00pm

 Price to SWIM

$4.00 per person.  Anyone who comes through the gate MUST pay.

Summer Passes available: $125.00 for first member and $80.00 for each additional (immediate family) member.

Lesson Costs

$80.00 per person for 2 weeks , $45.00 for one week.

CHECKS are made out to “Sebring High School”.

CREDIT CARDS CAN be used—additional charges apply.
