Attention Students and Parents:
Students attending the Homecoming Dance must attend all their classes on Friday Sept. 27th in order to attend the Homecoming Dance Saturday night. A doctors note must be provided, prior to the office closing Friday, for missing any classes that day.
👑 On Wednesday, September 24, 25 there will be a mandatory Homecoming Royalty practice at the stadium at 1:45 p.m.

Rumble Night has been postponed due to inclement weather until next Wednesday, 10/2, from 6-9:30 PM. We plan to follow the same plan and schedule.

🎨🚘 Get ready for the AVID Parking Lot Spot Painting fundraiser! Applications are available from Mrs. Irwin. Submit your design drafts to Mrs. Irwin by Friday, October 4th for approval. Remember, your design must be approved before painting. We would love to see the student parking lot full of designs this year. Personalize your spot while helping support a great cause!
Today, we cut the ribbon and opened our new Athletic Field House! Thank you to everyone who came out to see this fantastic building. Thank you to the Athletic Task Force, Half Cent Sales Tax, Highlands County School Board Members, Highlands County District Office, and everyone who had a helping hand in this. #OneDragon 🐉
👑 Voting for the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 & Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Voting is open to all LPH Students. You will vote on Skyward for your choice of King and Queen.
🎂Wishing the happiest of birthdays to Ms. Perry! Ms. Perry helps support our 9th and 10th grade students as guidance counselor, acts as the Junior Class Sponsor, and also is the JV Cheer Coach this year. Hats on for HOCO! Each day of Spirit Week students may pay $1 to wear a hat. Proceeds will go to each class (Monday -'26, Tuesday - AVID, Wednesday - ‘25, Thursday - ‘28, Friday - ‘27). Please try to bring a single dollar bill to pay if possible. Money will be collected each morning in the Commons and you will receive a proof of payment to show throughout the day if asked. Let's show our LPH Dragon Pride and raise some money for our classes!
🚗💦LPH Sound of the Dragon Marching Band invites you to come out to O'Reilly Auto Parts in Lake Placid on Saturday, September 21st from 11 AM - 12 PM and let them wash your car. The LPH Band is raising funds to support our growing music program at LPH. 🐲🎶
