All Florida students in grades 6-12 must receive a minimum of five hours of education in youth mental health awareness and assistance based upon Administrative Code Rule 6A-1.094121. Students will be receiving this instruction over the course of the next four months using Purpose Prep’s nationally adopted Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum. Below is the content outline Scope and Sequence for the curriculum and a parent letter from the SBHC Associate Superintendent of schools, Melissa Blackman.
